About Melabev

Melabev is a community-based organization in Israel that specializes in caring for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.  Melabev focuses on the background, abilities and interests of each person, knowing that they have the same need for social interaction and meaningful activities as the rest of us.  The heart of Melabev is its day centers in which participants are offered an array of social and therapeutic activities, in groups and one-to-one, based on cognitive level.   Day centers also provide much-needed respite and support to families, assisting them in keeping their loved ones at home and out of an institution for as long as possible.
